SOMETIMES JUST AROUND THE CORNER WHERE YOU LIVE
AND THIS IS ALWAYS THE BEST ISN’T IT….
This weekend was the first summer night and the street food festival in Geneva was on! I made my tour to discover brands that offer vegan options.
More and more the health vibe is attacking finally Switzerland and the cheese loving carnivore inspired french part of it gets slowly and slowly more opened up for the possibility to eat plant based.
On my list of favourites:
even though there is just one option which is vegan, it is A BEAUTIFUL ONE:
pink tapioca crepes filled with beetroot hummus, arugula and orange zest
even gluten free and named amazingly: PIMP YOUR PINKROOTS.
Oh yes you feel it how your roots get pimped in a pink flow when biting into this crunchy beauty of a crepe.
YOU WANNA BE A WILD GIRL RIGHT AFTER EATING IT.
A freshly new smoothie brand based in Puidoux near Lausanne.
What I loved the most about this sibling created new company is the division of smoothies into the 4 elements:
There is the earth smoothie which is a green detox one, the air smoothie sweet carroty orange with cinnamon, the fire smoothie is like a flamme red with beetroot and strawberries and lastly the water smoothie goes blue on blueberries, grapes and cabbage.
GET YOUR ELEMENT AND BE THE EXPERIENCE.
Great sibling work!
Vegan Strudel oh my oh my
I actually did not have one, but my eyes already got pleased by the beautiful creation of those strudels…
Plus the fact that they are fully vegan just totally satisfied my mind. YES IT IS POSSIBLE.
The Austrians (where Strudle is originally from) will be happy..
Happy Healthy Whole
The Bon Ju Slogan and right to the point.
Totally fresh and newly on the juice market the Geneva based Juice brand Bon Ju founded by a lovely woman named Judy is right there on the right moment where it all slowly starts moving here in the french part.
Great mixes of greens to help us all get those leafy fibres into our body.
I love the Green Goddess Mix since it is the most green version they have. Green Green Green it can’t be Green enough for me.
Competing with the green of the grass I was sitting on while sipping on the juice.
Those were my favourites, but there were way more things and I was happy that in mostly all the food trucks there were vegan possibilities like Tofu Burritos, or Veggie Arepas…YES IT IS MOVING INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION. SLOWLY THE TRUCKS WILL FEEL THE GREEN AIR…
