TRASH IS FOR TOSSERS
TRASH IS FOR TOSSERS.
on the line
Lauren Singer lives a Zero Waste Life in New York City.
The former major Environmental Studies student made her way of lifestyle aligned with the importance of LIVING YOUR VALUES!!
With Trash is for Tossers, she created a blog with the attempt to document her Zero Waste journey and showcase that a zero waste lifestyle is simple, cost-effective, timely, fun and entirely possible for everyone and anyone.
IF LAUREN CAN DO IT IN NYC, we can do it too!!!
She defines trash as anything a person throws away in a manner that it won’t be re used, re purposed at some point in the future and takes so by part of the waste landfill.
Zero Waste is a lifestyle to avoid producing any garbage. No landfill sendings, no trash can feeding, NOTHING!!
But you can recycle and compost.
It is beginning of August now, we might still be in recharge mood to start of the colder season in September…Often also a time to be motivated for new projects, new goals, new try!
So why not trying the ZERO WASTE LIFE?!
I am in!
More than half way already there,
With only buying secondhand clothes to 95% of the time.
With living a vegan/plant based lifestyle
With growing my own herbs
With buying package free food for most of my nutrition list.
With getting glass packaged items instead of plastic ones
With freezing my veggie waste to make my own bouillon out it
With brushing my teeth with a recyclable brush instead of a trash able plastic one
With having a reusable moon cup when monthly moonblood starts
With using coconut oil for almost all my beauty secrets and as least items as possible…
BUT STILL, THERE IS MORE TO COME.
I will keep you posted when the challenge starts.
But till then:
Thank you, Lauren, to be an inspiration for us!!
