WOMENCIRCLE N°3 LINA
“YOU CAN’T CHANGE YOUR LIFE
BY DOING THE SAME THINGS
SHE KNEW AND STEPPED INTO ACTION!!!
THIS IS LINA
THE WOMAN BEHIND TRICROCHET
THE WOMAN THAT HELD THE SPACE FOR US WHILE REMINDING US:
IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO MAKE TIME AND SPACE FOR YOURSELF!!SO DO IT!
Yesterday, Thursday evening, end of the month, one of my favorite nights each month returning:
THE NIGHT WE BOND AGAIN: WOMENCIRCLE NIGHT founded by Be Ananda and co-created by all of us that chooses to join the tribe.
This time it was LINA’s moment to share with us and we got to not only feel her power to move, change and create, we even had the opportunity to feel the same power in us being activated.
LINA is the founder of TRICROCHET, an association since 2014, that touches the problem of our huge plastic waste and makes us more sensible to be aware of it. Lina felt the need to not only be in the observation and analyzation mode we often tend to be stuck in, but instead move into the action mode and create change. She started the project 2013 which became an association in 2014 and now is an established atelier of several women who create new products with the plastic waste and making us all aware of the vicious cycle that we could turn into something positive and useful.
Lina made us see it and talked us through the evening with lots of passion for her project and the awareness of getting back into your own power.
Take a moment, be still,
like a lighthouse.
Stable & grounded,
always ready to enlighten each and every situation of your own ocean.
However big the waves are,
you see through it and stay still and focused.
Beautifully she spoke that truth and made us aware of some simple but conscious question towards our own “lighthouse state of mind”.
Reminding us that we can have the power if we choose to use it.
We are made to create while spring is opening its blossom.
Winter gave us all the patience and grounding earth to be ready to move, transform and create when spring arrives.
With this push of courage, intention, and concentration we started to work the fabric….literally but also mentally.
Lina introduced us to her plastic crochet technique and we all fell into a state of meditation working and transforming the wasteful plastic into something beautiful and reusable.
ENDING THE NIGHT WITH A CROCHET FLOWER, MANDALA, DREAMCATCHER, ACCESSORY OR ANY OTHER WAY WE WANTED IT TO BE.
LITERALLY, WE TRANSFORMED THE FABRIC,
BUT SYMBOLICALLY WE GOT TO PEEK INTO OUR OWN FABRIC,
WE GOT TO SEE OUR POWER TO FOCUS,
OUR ABILITY TO CONCENTRATE,
OUR COURAGE TO KEEP ON WEAVING &
FINALLY OUR PASSION FOR CREATING….
WE GET TO CHOOSE WHEN IT IS TIME TO STEP IN ACTION &
WE FOR SURE DID &
WE FOR SURE WILL!!!
THANK YOU LINA, THANK YOU, WOMEN, THANK YOU TRIBE OF LOVE!
IT WAS A CROCHET KIND OF HAPPINESS,
UP AND DOWN THE THREAD OF LIFE
THERE WE MOVE AGAIN.
